Dear members,

எல்லோருக்கும் இனிய சுபக்ருது புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துக்கள்.  Happy puthaandu/Vishu wishes !

With Lord Rama’s blessings, our SriRamanavami special event went well Sunday! All of our performers presented such carefully chosen compositions on Lord Rama and we are grateful to all the teachers for guiding their students.

We showcased 25 performers in the august presence of some of our resident teachers, parents, and volunteers. The venue had removed the mask mandate so we were able to see the beautiful smiles of some people who were comfortable removing them. Waiting for the day that everyone will feel comfortable/safe to do that.

Extremely grateful to all our resident gurus for taking time out of their schedule to attend our event and for blessing our performers with their cheerful and encouraging presence.  Thank you Smt Anu, Sri Gopi, Sri Hari, Smt Rama, Smt Sandhya, Sri Srinath for your gracious presence at the event. We had the opportunity at the event to acknowledge and thank Guru Sri Hari Devanath on the 20th anniversary of SriPaduka Academy. On behalf of CCC, our board member Sri Krishnaswamy Narasimhan, and co-founder Mohan Vaidyanathan presented a small token to the founder of SriPaduka Academy, Sri Hari D. congratulating him on this momentous occasion.

CCC is very blessed to have a committed volunteer base led by Namdev (aka Nami)!  Our volunteers Thyagarajan aka Thyagu, Sam Ravindran, Latha Srikant, Karthik Rishi, Vivek Ramani, Siva Balan, Balaji Ramaswamy, Srikanth Mahalingam all volunteered at the event, spending their precious Sunday afternoon at CCC! Thanks to all the backend volunteers for doing their part so sincerely, all aspects were flowing smooth. Big kudos to Sanika Pande for stepping up to cover the event photography when her mom had to leave for India suddenly and thanks to Padmini for volunteering to help with the last segment photos. Thanks to ALL the parents of our performers for helping with various tasks before/during/after the event. People who volunteer with us know how much work goes in for each event with regard to setup and cleanup, so everyone’s participation and help is sincerely appreciated.

We’ve been enjoying great hospitality (thanks to our performers parents for providing yummy snacks/tea/ coffee/ fruits etc) at CCC since February but it is proving to be a bit of distraction and a lot of coordination work so we will be stopping that effective immediately (Don’t want you to be disappointed when you come next month expecting that so sharing this now itself!).
