Dear members,

As I mentioned during the event, Spring means `Carnatic Music Concerts' for the privileged, living in the bay area! So, many thanks are in order to all those individuals who made an effort to be there to encourage our budding artists! Also, we are so grateful to Shirdi Sai Parivaar for allowing us to host our event there.

Regarding the performances by our talented children, there was a good chunk of Prathimadhyama ragams, Geeta's Lathangi, Divya's Chandrajyothi RTP and Keerthi's Dharmavathy main were rendered very well. To add flavors to the event, we had other performers present items in more familiar ragams, a brisk (Shobillu) Jaganmohini starter by Sumedh, beautiful Mohanam by Hari, good Suddha Saveri by Vishnu and catchy Hamsadhwani by Akhil-Arvind brothers. All the accompanists did a fantastic job and we are so happy that many children are stepping up to accompany so willingly, and without you, the concert won't be the same! Special thanks to the performers and their teachers for choosing items carefully to fit within allotted time slots, and the accompanists for alerting the performers when they go over the time limit during rehearsal itself, and I guarantee, THAT IS THE REASON WE ARE KEEPING OUR SCHEDULE TO THE MINUTE each month so KUDOS TO YOU ALL for a job well done again this month!

CCC events have become a family event for many in our group and I can see genuine enthusiasm to help out. Our core team members Namdev and Mohan get plenty of help each month for setup and cleanup from dedicated volunteers like Shriram, Jayaraman, Kannan and also from performing kids' parents as well. Thank you all for all your help without which I can't do the events so smoothly.

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 4th evening, tentative time is from 4pm to 6.30pm (starting at 4pm in order to end before Baba aarti at 6.30pm). Hopefully we don't run into major conflicts for many members due to Sivan competitions at this time.
