December CCC, Sunday 2nd, 2012

Our December event turned out to be a beautiful one even though the morning rains scared us a bit! With the rain tapering off, Sun came out for our 7 performers and their accompanists and we had a very successful event with wonderful performances! We got to hear many new voices and also mature renderings from our repeat performers.

Many thanks to Sathyanarayanaswamy Devasthanam for their beautiful venue! Sincere thanks to our dedicated and core volunteers Namdev, Mohan, Jayaraman, Kannan, and event day volunteers Sundar (Janani's dad), Sriram (Sarika's dad) and Jagan (Shruthi's dad) and others for their help in logistics/setup/cleanup.

Namdev was a bit shy but liked the little surprise and the beautiful card our children gave him! Feel free to email me if you have any suggestions for improving the way we do CCC, I'm open to feedback (no guarantee that we will be able to implement all though!) as we strive to make it better for our children each year, especially with our anniversary nearing! I'm also accepting names for 'dedicated' volunteers who may be able to help us each month (not just the month your child performs).
