Our New Year CCC 15th anniversary event went amazingly well! All the performers did a wonderful job bringing us into the new year. Many of them performed compositions in the ragams of the 15th and 16th Melakarthas to represent the end of the 15th year and the beginning of the 16th year of CCC monthly concerts. We introduced a few new performers: Manasa Praveen, Saanjali Sai Vinay, and Advaith Narayanan's violin solo. Excited to see your growth over the next few years!

Once again, a thank you to all of our amazing volunteers that help manage all the wings of CCC. All the various aspects that make CCC happen like the photography, video, audio, magazine, and website need volunteers, so that we can make CCC more accessible. And thank you to all the students and parents who made it out to enjoy the performances.

Of course, our resident gurus cannot be thanked enough, to take the time to come and support all of our performers. Hamsa aunty, Kasthuri (amma), Sandhya aunty, Srinath uncle, Mahesh uncle, Savita aunty, thank you for coming and encouraging all these young talents, your presence means a lot to us students.

As Padma aunty was talking about the ways that volunteers help, it made me think about how much CCC itself has grown as an organization. Providing students with a beautiful platform to show how they’ve grown and all the moving parts involved in making that happen, is amazing to see as an alumnus. As Preetika said, 15 years of CCC is 15 years of effort from everyone involved. Here’s to another great year of CCC!

Our next event will be on Feb 4th 2024 @2pm at our usual Sai Parivaar venue. Wishing you all a Happy Pongal /Makara Sankaranthi festival!
