Dear members,

We are officially done with yet another school year and the students must all be breathing a sigh of relief. It was such a relaxing and beautiful event Sunday and thanks to all of you who joined in-person and virtually in this celebratory event. Every single performance was so lovely in its own right and the three hours went by really quickly listening to such a variety of compositions.

We showcased 26 performers (all returning performers except for Sanvi whom we introduced on the vocal for the first time) in the encouraging presence of some of our resident teachers, parents, and volunteers. Each of them presented their chosen composition in the best way possible with able support from their respective accompanists. Extremely grateful to all our resident gurus Smt Kasthuri, Sri Hari, Sri Mahesh Balaji, Sri Srinath, Smt Sandhya, Sri Natarajan, Sri Gopi, Sri Srikanth Chary, Sri Saravanapriyan and our visiting guru Sri Vivek, for taking time out of their schedule to attend our event and for blessing our performers with their supportive and encouraging presence.  We also celebrated our recent HS graduates in an informal gathering outside in the park, immediately after CCC and my hearty thanks to Jayshree Narasimhan and fellow parents of grads for pulling off a lovely get-together to meet and greet our freshly minted graduates. Photos from that are also below.

CCC is very blessed to have a committed AV team led by Namdev (aka Nami)!  Our sincere thanks to him and his team consisting of Mohan Vaidyanathan, Sriram Iyer, Karthik Rishi, Vivek Ramani, for spending their precious Sunday afternoon at CCC from 12 noon to 7pm! Many thanks to Prakash Dandapani, Hari Kodungallur for their help as well with setup/cleanup. Arvind Ganesan and his son Sathya also joined us for the setup as brand new volunteers and helped us with whatever was needed at the venue. Nithya Ashok came aboard the team as a video team volunteer starting this month. Big kudos and thanks to Sreelaasya Kanakadandi & Ranjana Rajagopalan for stepping in to cover the event photography and doing a fabulous job. I am sure you’ll enjoy the pics below. Thanks to the parents of Nitya and Aparna for their help as well and all the backend volunteers (Uma & Srikanth for PPT help, Veena & Sadhana for attendance marking, Srini, Anandhi, Vaidy & Radha for FB/website updates) for doing their part so sincerely, all aspects were flowing smooth. Thanks to the parents of our performers who helped with clean up after the event. People who volunteer with us know how much work goes in for each event on and off the stage, so everyone’s participation and help is sincerely appreciated.
