Dear all,

It is a coincidence that we had the same number of participants (29) in our Father’s day event last Sunday as we had for the Mother’s day special last month. Congratulations to each of our performers for putting up a grand show and our alumni emcees Vardhinee Prakash and Rahul Swaminathan kept the audience entertained with their youthful emceeing and ‘dad jokes’ to celebrate Father’s Day.

We introduced Neha, Viswesh and Bhargav on the vocals and all 3 students sang very beautifully. Sudiksha and Aditya Bashyam, both seniors presented in the RTP slots and returning performers Sahithya, Nitya, Krishna, Dhivyaa, Smriti showcased great progress since their last performance. Our accompanist pool is growing now which is a welcome sign that more and more students are interested and able to step up, kudos to each of them.

Our heartfelt thanks to each of our beloved resident gurus for making time to be there to encourage, bless and cheer our performers amidst many activities over the busy weekend. Thank you Smt Kasthuri, Sri Shivkumar, Sri Hari, Sri Mahesh, Smt Rama, Smt Hamsa, Smt Savita, Smt Anuradha, Smt Sandhya, Sri Srinath, Sri Natarajan and Sri Saravanapriyan. It was wonderful that vidwan Sri Patri Satish Kumar attended the event, listened to some of our performers and also spoke at the end.

We also took the time to acknowledge and congratulate our graduating seniors and had a short get-together with them after the event.

Thank you dear core team volunteers for helping with so much dedication which resulted in a smooth event that started and ended on time, and special thanks to our backend volunteers and the volunteers who planned ahead and took care of everything before leaving on their vacation.  Truly appreciate all your help and support.

Please save July 16th 2023 for our next event in which we will honor the GURUS in our lives and please note the timings will be 1-4pm (to accommodate another CCC student’s graduation concert the same evening) for our next event.
