Dear members,
TLDR: Pictures speak a thousand words so I’m going to limit the # of words I write this month hoping the pictures (thanks to Murali S.) and video excerpts (thanks to Vidya A.) will compensate. Sincere thanks to each of you who made time to listen to our students Sunday!
It was a delight to hear the new voices of Madhumitha, Siddharth and Akshay, strings of Gaurav (veena) and Vishnu (violin), and beats of Vaibhav! Our repeat performers Arundhati, Rahul, Urmika, Varsha and Ranjani did a great job handling ragams Arabhi, Varamu, Urmika, Vachaspati and Dharmavati RTP respectively.
Our March accompanists Shivani, Srishiva, Vishaka, Aishwarya, Vivek, Sachin, Shreyas, Anirudh, Srikanth and Santhosh enhanced the show with their wonderful support, congratulations to them all and kudos to our OTS accompanists Aditya (on string) and Pranav and Sriram (on Mrudangam). My very special thanks to CCC alumni Hrishikesh Chary for returning to CCC stage to accompany this month, it was a divine yet proud feeling to listen him.
CCC 10th anniversary project is off to a fantastic start with 16 teachers, 200+ participants, two PMs and many dozens of enthusiastic parent volunteers aboard!!! Grouping information will be going out within the next few days to students who had registered (except for the alumni group which will be finalized a bit later), please look out for that important email and also read.
Please save April 8th Sunday (4pm to 7pm) for our next event.
