May CCC, Sun 2022 HYBRID event

Dear members,

We celebrated mothers and motherhood in our May CCC Mother’s Day event and thanks to all of you who joined in-person and virtually in this celebration. All of our performers presented such carefully chosen compositions on the Divine Mother and we are grateful to all the teachers for guiding their students.

We showcased 25 performers (all returning performers except for Akshara whom we introduced on the veena for the first time) in the august presence of some of our resident teachers, parents, and volunteers. Extremely grateful to all our resident gurus for taking time out of their schedule to attend our event and for blessing our performers with their cheerful and encouraging presence.  

CCC is very blessed to have a committed AV team led by Namdev (aka Nami)!  Our sincere thanks to him and his army consisting of Mohan Vaidyanathan, Sriram Iyer, Srivatsan Kannan, Karthik Rishi, Vivek Ramani, for spending their precious Sunday afternoon at CCC from 12 noon to 7pm! Thanks to the parents of Sachin, Avinash and Aishwarya for their help as well and all the backend volunteers (Uma & Srikanth for PPT help, Veena & Sadhana for attendance marking, Radha, Srini, Anandhi, Vaidy for FB/website updates, youth volunteer Pramati for Instagram updates) for doing their part so sincerely, all aspects were flowing smooth. Big kudos and thanks to Sreelaasya Kanakadandi for stepping in to cover the event photography and doing a fabulous job. Thanks to the parents of our performers who helped with clean-up after the event. People who volunteer with us know how much work goes in for each event with regard to setup and cleanup, so everyone’s participation and help is sincerely appreciated.
