November CCC, Sunday 2023

With God’s grace, the CCC November event went off without a hitch. Congratulations to all the performers and accompanists for doing a fantastic job. We introduced Karthik, Sahana, and Shreya on vocals; Avanija on violin, and Pranav on mridangam. All our returning performers and accompanists kept the show bright and lively with their wonderful performances. 

As one of the alumni emcees and my second time taking on the role, I have to say I had just as much if not more fun this time around - helping encourage all the students and sharing personal stories along the way all the while helping the audience transition between performances as smoothly as possible. Kudos to my partner Vaishnavi as well, who took on the role for the first time and absolutely killed it!

Thank you to all the core team volunteers who make every CCC event possible - thanks to you and the parents who pitch in before and after the event to set up and clean up, CCC is able to run smoothly. I know the students, parents, and Padma aunty are all ever grateful for your continued support.

And as always our CCC resident gurus rock! We had many of them in attendance at CCC this month. Thank you Sri Hari, Smt Kasthuri, Smt Hamsa, Smt Sandhya, Sri Shivkumar Bhat, Sri Srinath, Sri Gopi, Smt Sandhya, Sri Saravanapriyan, Smt Anu, Smt Sija, Smt Snigdha, Smt Rama and others for making time to listen to your own students and other performers! Us music students would not be able to perform to any caliber without your constant encouragement and support.
