September CCC, Sunday 2023

Dear all,

With God's grace, our September CCC event went well. Congratulations to all the performers and their accompanists for giving us an enjoyable afternoon. Our alumni emcees Vignesh and Aparna Thyagarajan did a fantastic job of tying the segments together with a lot of personal touches and anecdotes.

We introduced a lot of new talents in this event, and heard for the first time Saatvik Swaminathan, Sathya Ganesan, Saathvik Narayanan, Sahana Radharaman (first in-person), Anika Rajesh on the vocals, and Sainishanth on the mrudangam. All our returning performers and accompanists impressed all with their improved performances, kudos to all of them.

The event feels complete when our resident gurus occupy those front row seats and September CCC was no exception. Thank you Smt Kasthuri, Sri. Srinath, Smt Hamsa, Sri Shivkumar, Smt Rama, Sri Mahesh, Smt Anuradha, Smt Savita, Sri Saravanapriyan for your staunch support to CCC and your encouraging presence and blessings to our performers at our September event. We had a couple of non-resident teachers as well in attendance Sunday, thank you to Smt.Geetha Ravi and Smt Sowmya Subramaniam for attending the event.

Icing on the cake was to have Vidwan Sri Sashikiran attend our CCC event for the first time and we thank him for his time (especially on his birthday) and his kind words for CCC along with blessings for our children. Congratulations to our Presidential Volunteer Service Awardees Vaibhav, Prisha, Sanika and Prahlad all of whom were recognized at our event (and Vid Sashikiran did the honors) and I hope this serves as a motivation for other youth volunteers to give back through CCC to our community!

I am extremely grateful for our core team who own their tasks and take pride in doing them. YOU ALL ROCK and our CCC children and I are grateful to have your help and unrelenting support.
