India Literacy Project's Youth 2019 Talent Show contest

India Literacy Project is a 100% volunteer based 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of literacy in India. ILP has been supporting grass roots projects that aim at ensuring quality education for all children in rural parts of India. Since its inception ILP has supported nearly over 100 projects across 17 different states of India, benefitting around 300,000 people. ILP's philosophy is to work with people of all age-groups and to empower the local communities. ILP's Youth group volunteers in the Bay Area are excited to invite you all to register for their 3rd ILP Youth 2019 Talent Show contest fundraiser as on May 25th, 2019 at Garden House Shoup Park, Los Altos between 2.00pm-5.30 pm.The funds raised from this talent show will go towards providing science kits and libraries for the schools as part of ILP's "School as a Multi Dimensional Learning Space” initiative that strives to enable excellent quality of education for the children in the Tumkur district and Magadi Taluk of Karnataka and in some schools in TamilNadu. The youth group students are targeting to have various teams participate in the contest in two different categories of music and dance and spread awareness to many more people during this outreach campaign.
