Dear members,
இனிய பிலவ வருட வாழ்த்துக்கள், Happy Ugadi, Vishukani!!!!
May this New Year bring a lot of happiness, peace, good health and prosperity to you and your family!
We had our very first virtual event last April and Sunday’s event marked our first year anniversary for the "technology driven CCC events" and I’m very grateful to each and every one of you who tuned in to watch, bless and encourage our performers.
We showcased 27 young budding artists, out of which 8 were brand new talents. We introduced Pavitra, Pranaya, Anirudh, Shravya and Jishnujith on the vocals, Srividya, Krithika on the violin and Vidarth on the Mrudangam. The sincerity with which the students performed, the care that was taken by the families to provide them the necessary ambience/setup for the recordings, the exquisite décor seen in each performance, the matching and coordinated outfits of performers all went on to prove that CCC performances do have a special place in everyone’s heart and we are so very happy about that. These small victories of performing to our encouraging audience do help our young learners in their musical journey and thank you all for being a part of this ecosystem. Congratulations to each and every one of our performers, very proud of you all!
My sincere appreciation to all of our volunteers, THANK YOU and Happy National Volunteers month to you all!
It was so very wonderful to see so many of our resident Gurus join and bless our students, and I truly appreciate their presence and blessings! THANK YOU Gurus!
Thanks to the parents of performers and the audience for sending in pictures to our album, and kudos to Pramithi Kalluri (our new volunteer) for consolidating the pics from various sources.
I apologize for the unavoidable technical interruption we had during Shivani’s RTP performance, but grateful to Namdev Nayak for bringing the live stream back up in a short time. If you have not already subscribed, please subscribe to our YouTube channel using this link now so you’ll get notifications anytime we go live(again) in situations like this. My special gratitude to all those unflappable souls who tuned back in promptly, to finish watching the show. If you missed it, I have the link separately for the 2nd part below and request you all to watch it.

The most awaited part of this summary probably is the results from our first official quiz. I’m thrilled to report that 84 students participated and submitted their responses to the quiz questions. Congratulations to all of the participants and kudos to the TOP TWENTY scorers below.

We will keep accumulating the scores each month to identify winners for the year so it’s not too late to join this fun quiz in May CCC. The number of points one can score each month will also change depending on how many performers we have in the lineup so it’s easy to catch up. Please save May 9th 2021 Sunday from 2-5pm for our next event, on Mother’s Day. Stay safe and be well!
Regards,
Padma
