Dear members,
Hope you are all gearing up for the holidays ahead! Our best wishes to the students who have their finals this week! Our last event of the year was such a memorable one as we got to introduce so many new talents! Nandhan, Arya, Sahiti, Sudiksha all presented their debut vocal performance in CCC in their own adorable way. Gowriâs violin solo was neat and Rajita, Prahlad, Gayathri and Archita all rendered with so much more confidence than last year, making it so grand. Thanks to guru Srikanth Chary, we got to introduce three vainikas on accompaniment (Vivrd, Kavya and Preetika) and all of them did full justice to their debut assignments. Srishiva came aboard the accompanying pool on the violin with his first accompaniment this month and Aparna, Aditya, and Vittal provided fantastic melodic support as always, to our singers. Umesh jumped on the accompaniment bandwagon with so much confidence in his intro performance on the Mrudangam and Shrikanth, Shreyas, Rahul, Vishal, Ananth, Sriram, Pranav and Avinash all did so well for their respective performers. Vidwan Sri Gopi Lakshminarayananâs feature a guru segment on âWhy Lyve?â was so interesting, all our youngsters were enthusiastically participating, thus extending the segment a bit longer than planned. It was so valuable and engaging and there could not have been a better month to present this; our heartfelt thanks to Gopi for creatively presenting this wonderful topic! Many thanks to all our volunteers who helped with various event day logistics which resulted in a smooth event. Thanks to Sowmya and Gomathy for bringing coffee/chai for our volunteers. Big thanks to Prasanna for capturing the PICTUREs and VIDEO EXCERPTs ! Heartfelt thanks to all of you for creating this nice eco system under CCC roof for our children! Hope to have your continued support in 2017! Our Best wishes to all our students who are heading to Chennai for the music season! Please save Sunday January 8th from 2pm to 5pm for our Eighth Anniversary event! Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year 2017! Regards, Padma Mohan |
