February CCC, Saturday 8th, 2014

Dear members,

Every single one of our seven performers did an awesome job today and gave CCC an amazing start for the New Year after the anniversary celebrations! Shashank introduced himself today to our friendly CCC audience with his sweet performance, Vishnu did a fine job in his second performance, Shubha was amazing in her veena solo, Vivrd, Aparna and Akshaya put up a grand main slot performance and Ashwin’s RTP was the icing on the cake! Congratulations to each of you. Accompanists are improving with each performance, Ashwin did a great job and our senior violinists, Keerthi, Vignesh and Divya enhanced the experience for all with their supportive accompaniments. There is no dearth of talented mrudangists in our group, and I am so happy about that! Kutty Avinash, Srivatsan, Ajay, Akshay Aravindan, Akshay Venkatesan all did a fabulous job during their turn and Gopal impressed everyone even without getting his ‘thani time’!!! Kudos to you boys and keep it up!

Many thanks to all of you who came to the event to encourage our performers today and a BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU to those who stayed till the last performer. The performers and their accompanists are to be congratulated for keeping within the allotted timeslot, we finished the event on time. Sriram’s slides saves us significant time with artist introductions and also, a ton of thanks to all the volunteers who helped Namdev/Mohan with setup and cleanup, we truly appreciate your enthusiastic support!!!
