March CCC 2009

Hello everyone, It was another great event yesterday and a BIG thank you to all the people who attended the concert. The performers Kirthana, Varshini, Prasanna and Divya all did a wonderful job and able accompaniment was provided by Sri Gopi and Chinmai on the mrudangam. Pragathi educated us all in certain aspects of music theory with her (Kanaka's and Prithivi's?) questions. Rajan and Pramila had staged the house so beautifully without compromising the available space and it felt like we had room to accommodate more people. As usual, Sri Namdev had setup the place with his wonderful sound system (thank you Guru, Kanaka and Rajan for your assistance here!) and also kept the audio quality to the best levels during the event, which highlighted the performances. Special thanks to Pramila, Vatsala, Janaki and Ramya for helping with the food, we had plenty to go around but have to admit samosas were a big hit among children. A big thanks to Kanaka's mom for help with packing the food and the moral support she provided. We do not have a CCC event in April but hope to see all of you with families back in May!
