Dear members,
Hope all of you had a great Mother’s Day weekend! It was a great show Saturday, thanks to each of you for coming together to show your support to CCC and the performers, especially when it mattered a bit more than usual! We had the most number of people attending the program today in spite of the many conflicting events and I am grateful to you all for making an effort to be there! Both Cleveland Sundaram mama and Nemani Somayajulu garu offered extremely kind words about our children and all the efforts we all put in feels worth it when it gets validated by people like them.

Rahul’s Vasanta, Ananya’s Saranga/Sriranjani, Hari’s Purnachandrika/ Raamapriya, Divya’s Saveri, Sumedh’s Hamsadhwani/Sriranjani, Kaushik’s Panthuvarali, and Sahana’s Ranjani were all wonderfully presented to the best of their abilities and I was heartened to see the efforts put in by these kids to perform at our event! Kudos to our string accompanists, Vignesh, Shreyas, Aparna, and Sowbarnika, and mrudangam accompanists Gopal, Akshay A, Adarsh, Pranav, Santhosh and Avinash,! CCC’s goal is to motivate and encourage the children to practice in order to present their best on stage and I am happy to see that we are on target with that!

Nami, as always, took care of all our audio needs and help from the audio team volunteers comprising of Thyagu, Ravindran, Ramchandran & Kannan were valuable today given the time constraints. Core volunteers Mohan, Sriram, Prasanna and Latha did their best with coordination, projection, photos and memberships respectively. I’d like to offer my special thanks to everyone who helped with setup and clean up, sincerely appreciate help from the parents of Pranav, Rahul, Ananya, Akshay A., Shreyas, Sumedh and from Balaji during setup. Tea for volunteers was brought in by Suma Kaushik and Veena Tirumalai, thank you ladies!

Please save Sunday, June 8th 2014 (2pm to 4.30pm) for our next event! We will break during July and monthly events will resume in August and all event dates for the fall can be found on our website calendar.
