May CCC, Saturday 4th, 2013

Dear members,

We witnessed beautiful singing by 7 of our wonderful children in our May CCC event, when each of them gave their best! Accompanists did their part so very nicely, and it is very fulfilling to see so many of them stepping up to the challenge when opportunities were presented! Thanks to all the performers, their teachers and the parents for their support, and we hope this was a fruitful experience for you as well.

It is becoming harder and harder to come up with a date/time that doesn’t conflict with another local event and we don’t have the luxury of canceling the event any month due to the amount of members signed up to perform with us. I truly appreciate the members who make time for CCC and request the few others (who are skipping many) to show the same amount of commitment. We do value your time (which is why we strive hard to start/end our events on time) and the children appreciate your presence. It is so nice to see so many students across music schools/academic schools forming bond with each other through these monthly events! It builds a sense of belonging for remote learners and also connects children with similar interests(music and more) so the children benefit in so many ways when they attend.

Thanks are in order to both of them for filling-in for Prasanna (our resident volunteer photographer) who couldn’t attend due to a conflict. Also, a ton of thanks to all the volunteers who helped with various tasks for a successful event, we appreciate your enthusiastic support!!!

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 26^th afternoon for our June CCC event, we are doing it a week early as I announced yesterday and this will be our last event before we break for Summer. We resume in August this year though!
