Hi all,

Excited to announce a special masterclass/workshop for all musicians (not just percussionists) — featuring Vidwans Anirudh Athreya and Sumesh Narayanan.

This event will be held on October 2 at 7pm (tentative) at Stanford campus. Topics to be discussed include:
Layam for vocalists and instrumentalists
Pallavis with atypical rhythmic structure
Phrase development
Incorporating layam in manodharmam / accompanying manodharmam
Structuring sadhana

Make sure to bring your instruments as this session will be interactive. There will be a chance to interact with the artists more after the session.
